A couple of events and exhibitions I was proud to be a part of.
In October 2022, Studio 7 & Cairopolitan have partnered up to bring together 300+ prints designed by 115 artists from 12 different Arab countries all under one roof in Studio 7
In collaboration with Cairo Prints | Doha, Qatar
A powerful exhibition showcasing a collection of posters created by artists from around the world, all united in their support for the Palestinian resistance.
Additionally, as part of our commitment to the cause, we will be offering prints of each poster for sale, with all proceeds going directly to support our people in Gaza.

The artwork is an installation based
off an Illustrated poster quoting the famous Fairuz folk song «We & the Moon are neighbors»
The illustrative poster features a poignant quote from the renowned Lebanese folk song by Fairuz, an emblematic figure in Arabic music. It serves as a vibrant celebration of Arabic culture, capturing the profound essence of home and belonging.

"Designing Our Lives for a Better Future." | Cairo, Egypt
Film My Design is back for its 3rd edition with the theme "Designing Our Lives for a Better Future." Join us from October 3rd to 12th, 2024 at Zawya Cinema as we reflect on the profound interplay between humanity and design. This year's festival explores how our values, cultural narratives, and collective aspirations shape the cities and spaces we inhabit, influencing the future we build together.
As we transition from childhood to adulthood, the experiences and narratives we encounter shape our existence. This year’s exhibition explores the folkloric tales, dances, music, proverbs, and games integral to our upbringing, revealing the shared experiences that thread through our lives. Showcasing 12 artworks selected through an open call, Memory Box by Tasmeem is free and open to the public
Tasmeem: Memory Box | Dubai, UAE
Looking around the streets of Cairo, one can easily tell that one of the city’s most prominent features is how poster design is weaved into our visual culture and daily lives. Cairenes have always been known to enjoy posters designed for films, art exhibitions, music albums, or even storefronts and billboards.
Prints have always been a dominant form of art that was able to push through into other disciplines; from cinema, visual art, to music albums and publications. Cairopolitan has always been keen to keep an eye on the latest prints from established and emerging artists alike and gather them in one space.
Cairo Prints 5 | Cairo, Egypt
An exhibition of imaginative works from both local and international artists.
About the Installation:
We often dream of going back in time—whether to change a moment from the past or to relive a cherished memory. But what if, for just an instant, we could actually do it? Would the moment align perfectly with our recollection, or would we find ourselves in a version distorted by the passage of time and the brain's ever-changing narrative? After all, our minds are masters of manipulation, reshaping memories without us even realizing it. Now imagine if time travel existed in another dimension. Would you take the risk to revisit that uncertain reality, or would you choose to keep your memory preserved, untouched, in the imperfect yet comforting realm of your mind?
